AICI Membership

Membership in the Association of Image Consultants International provides a number of benefits.

Membership is open to individuals working in the field of image consulting or related fields. For an explanation of membership categories, please refer to the member categories below. AICI reviews all applications for membership and reserves the right to deny membership to those individuals who do not meet the criteria for membership as specified in the membership requirements.

AICI offers a rolling membership, meaning your membership begins on the date your application is approved and payment is processed, and extends for one year. Dues may be deductible as membership in a professional association on your income tax forms. Consult your tax advisor for more information.

The Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) is a non-profit organization; AICI is dedicated to advancing the level of professionalism and enhancing the recognition of image consultants. Our members counsel both individual and corporate clients on appearance, behavior, communication skills, etiquette and international protocol. Membership Categories

AICI Member | $295.00

An individual working in the field of image consulting or related fields. AICI Member category is for individuals who have a general interest in obtaining the knowledge and technical skills for personal advancement within the image professional industry.

AICI Skilled Member (formerly General Member) | $295.00

Entrepreneur or corporate employee working in the field of image consulting or related fields. Skilled members must have a 20 hour minimum of professional image industry training from recognized image industry institutes, colleges, workshops offered by an AICI CEU Provider or other education providers. This does not include CEU programs offered at AICI Chapters or International Conferences. Course topics must be within the AICI Core Competencies. A course outline must be submitted.

Membership applications will be approved by either the AICI Membership Committee or International Board of Directors monthly. Current paid Associate members in 2012 who are not CIC certified will be grandfathered in and automatically become AICI SkilledMembers. As a current paid member, they will not have to meet the 20 hour minimum training requirement.

Affiliate Member | $295.00

An individual working in an image-related affiliated business.

Distinguished Member | $185.00

Associate members with the title of AICI CIP or AICI CIM who have earned distinction for service to AICI, are a minimum of 68 years of age and have been a member of AICI for a minimum of 15 years. These members are moving towards retirement, no longer working at full capacity, and may continue to exercise some business practices. Must submit request to International VP Membership Development. The name is forwarded to the International Board of Directors for approval.

Please note AICI recently increased dues by $10 to help continue to fund existing and new AICI program areas and activities.

Options to Join:

  1. Choose the member type and complete the online application and pay with credit card or create an invoice. IMPORTANT: Membership will not be active until payment is received. If you choose the invoice option, you will need to pay in 30 days or your application will be removed from the database.

  2. Download the form and send in payment – check, credit card or PO.

    • Accepted Credit Cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
    • Membership period: Anniversary (one year from joining)

Member Rates for an Event

To receive member rates for an event(s), you must join first and then register for the event(s). These will be two separate transactions. If you have any questions, please call the office at: 651-290-7468. If you would like to register for an event without joining AICI, click here to create a login.
