She specializes in certified training for personal image consultants. With a B.S. in Education, Elaine has created image courses that are well planned and centered around increasing the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the image consulting industry. Her image concepts are easy to understand and put into practice. Eight-day Image Consulting Training Course (6.2 CEU's)

At the Stoltz Image™ Institute, you will learn all the secrets of how to become a successful image consultant. Classes are taught by the Institute's founder, Elaine Stoltz, one of only eight certified image masters in the world and a published author. Elaine Stoltz has been working as an image consultant for 21 years. Her personal experience of running a profitable image consulting studio enhances all of her classes as students learn from her great accomplishments in the image consulting industry.

With a background in education, Elaine has formulated a curriculum that focuses on meeting her students' image consulting needs and teaching them to excel in the business of image consulting. All teaching materials are clear and effective, and students learn in a relaxed and interactive environment that is conductive to learning. Classes have no more than 6 students.

All courses provide hands-on experience with real clients. Under Elaine's expert eye, you will leave the Stoltz Image Institute with the know-how to launch a new career as an image consultant or achieve your career goals in your current image consulting business.

The Stoltz Image Institute is recognized by the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) as a certified image training course. Graduates of the Stoltz Image Institute receive a certification of completion that fulfills the required training hours for a First Level Certification (FLC) through AICI. The course also provides students with the education necessary to pass the FLC exam.

The color analysis training section uses the most advanced and thorough color system available for women and men and includes the creation of customized color fans (using the Color Assembly System). No previous color training is needed, but this course is excellent for consultants familiar with the "seasonal systems" as well. Students learn to identify and select human body coloring as well as selecting flattering colors for the customized color fan. The color fan can be used in the selection of clothing, accessories, and makeup. The Stoltz Image Condensed Color Set, ideal for increasing the speed and accuracy of color analyses and used in all Stoltz Image consults, is only made available to graduates of the Stoltz Image Institute. The sets are available to graduates for an optional purchase through Color Assembly.

*All students will receive a personal custom color analysis and a customized color fan. Female students will receive a cosmetic makeover.

Learning Outcomes for Color Analysis Training:

  • List and describe the properties of color.
  • Evaluate the client’s natural body colors and establish their level of value, intensity, and temperature.
  • Identify and select colors that compliment a client’s natural body coloring.
  • Determine a client’s value contrast in their natural coloring and relate it to their clothing.
  • Teach a client how to shop while using their colors to select outfits and accessories.
  • Determine a client’s best dark and light neutral colors in order to create cluster wardrobe groupings.
  • Discuss appropriate color options for hair color, shoes, and accessories.
  • Identify the client’s colors to avoid around their face.

This body style section is the most in depth program for customized body style analysis. No previous style training is needed, but this course is excellent for consultants familiar with the style systems also. As a graduate of this course you are eligible to participate in the TAIC computerized style system.

Learning Outcomes for Body Style, Closet, Wardrobing, and Personal Shopping:

  • Learn the different body shapes for men and women.
  • Determine a person’s body proportions. 
  • Identify a client’s face shape and prominent features.
  • Learn the appropriate shapes, lengths, and styles of clothing that a client should wear.
  • Select appropriate hairstyles, eyeglasses, and any other accessories that the individual can wear.
  • Describe the visual lines created by different clothing styles and patterns.
  • Assess the client’s lifestyle and relate it to their clothing needs.
  • Visualize the image that the client wants to convey through their clothing.
  • Plan your consultation to complete the client’s wardrobe needs.
  • Evaluate the client’s closet organization.
  • Select clothing for elimination from the client’s closet. 
  • Organize clothing items in the client’s closet.
  • Learn to discuss client and help them rid their emotional attachment to their clothing. 
  • Create a shopping list.
  • Select appropriate clothing for the client’s coloring, body shape and personal style.
  • Quickly find clothing items that mix and match to create a cluster for the client’s wardrobe.
  • Complete outfits with accessories.  
  • Integrate the new purchases with existing garments in the closet to create new outfits.
