Lynne Marks
With an unparalleled background in the arena of image and President of London Image Institute, Lynne is a leader and mentor in the image industry. One of only a handful of Certified Image Masters worldwide, keynote speaker, author and trainer, she has been launching successful image consultants for over 20 years. She also consulted with Fortune 500 organizations and high profile individuals on brand and identity management for over 25 years.
Lynne’s career has always been about image. She headed the image and fashion modeling department at the London College of Fashion, becoming experienced in image, color theory, design, tailoring, style, body analysis, fit, garment construction, fashion trends and forecasting, fashion show production, makeup and modeling. She produced, choreographed and directed fashion show extravaganzas on a regular basis in London and internationally.
Lynne was a Founding Partner in charge of curriculum design and development for over a decade in the US with CEO International Inc., a management consulting company, dealing with the human factors which inhibit high level performance and results. The company specialized in sales, marketing, corporate branding and executive skills development with companies such as United Air Lines, Southern Company, Coca-Cola Enterprises and Pacific Dunlop.
Her individual clients are among some of the top U.S. executives and politicians to whom she coaches visual, non-verbal, interpersonal communication, interview and presentation skills and personal branding.
Lynne is Past President of the International Association of Continuing Education and Training, (IACET); Past International President of the Association of Image Consultants International, (AICI); President Elect of AICI in 2008; recipient of the AICI Award of Excellence for Education and recipient of the IMMIE the most prestigious award for image industry contribution. She has been quoted in publications such as Elle, Glamour, Time Magazine, Forbes, Elle, Women’s Day, Glamour and countless other publications, radio and television.
She is co-author of industry best-seller, The Perfect Fit: How to Start an Image Consulting Business and author of Skinny Bits, Wisdom for a Flourishing Image Business.
