AICI Fast Facts
The Association of Image Consultants International is the world’s premiere image industry professional association and is considered “The Source” for image professionals because of its focus on education, experience and excellence. AICI vigorously pursues its mission to:
- Promote the value of the image consulting profession
- Provide professional development
- Set the highest standards of excellence for the industry
AICI was formed in 1990 when the East Coast’s Association of Fashion & Image Consultants (AFIC) merged with the West Coast’s Association of Image Consultants (AIC). These two prestigious organizations were created by image professionals at the top of their field in the early and mid 1980s. Click here for a more detailed history of AICI.
Today, AICI has over 1300 members and 27 chapters around the world, in Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico, the Middle East, South America and the United States. AICI provides its members with access to education and certification opportunities that prepare them to be leaders in the image industry, and which set high standards for competency and professional conduct.
