The Chicago Metro chapter, formed in 1995, boasts a wide variety of members specializing in all aspects of image development.
Chapter roster includes members from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Missouri.

Volunteering IS the NEW Black:
It is very important to give back to the community. The Chicago Chapter has recently given back and teamed up with Bridge to Success, a women’s development organization committed to helping women get professional clothing for a professional career. All Clothing donated is professional, clean, and in good condition. We are proud of everybody who gave time to this cause. Here are pictures of participants in the event:

Service Day at Holy Trinity High School
Date: March 4, 2008
What: Holy Trinity High School students are preparing for summer internship programs and need our help to make their interviewing a success. A stunning 98% of the students who graduate from Holy Trinity go on to college. It’s guaranteed that you will feel like a million dollars after volunteering for this special event!

Meet-n-Greet
Attached is a photograph taken from our January 27th meet-n-greet event at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. Attendance included Leslie Russell, Dija DeCock, Nancy Plummer, LeAnn Dahl, Angel Webb, Marna Motew, and Robin Walker. Not photographed were Kelly Duggan and Kim Thompson.
All had a wonderful time, conversation was informative, food and tea was delicious.
Image Consulting Classes:
Continuing education is important to everybody to keep their business skills up to date. Nancy Plummer, AICI, continues to offer image consulting classes that prepare you for the first level certification exam. These courses are also a great refresher for those of you who have passed the exam!
The classes are for CEUs which are continuing education credits. If you are certified with AICI (FLC, CIP, CIM) you are required to earn 2.4 CEUs every 3 years. These classes are a great way to get them done!

AICI 2006 Annual Conference was held May 4 - 8, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among the 280+ image professionals from 21 counties who attended this year’s conference, over 20 Chicago Chapter members were in attendance. Congratulations to Nancy Plummer, AICI, VP Membership, who was honored as Chicago Chapter Member of the Year and to Anna Wildermuth, AICI, CIM, Treasurer, the 2007 Conference Chairperson.
