About the Session:

Clothing isnot a mere adornment for the wearer but a representation of the person who chooses or wears the garments.

It is not just a fashion statement or a work ‘uniform’ but a way of visibly portraying their sense of humor, dreams, hopes, anxieties and frustrations.

Consumers are better informed than ever before and the analytical approach we have been taught doesn’t always fit the bill when it comes to synchronizing client style.

Clients are ALL different and they need us to serve them using the methods THEY most prefer.

So, we need something more.

What if, just for today, you forgot everything you’d ever learned about image – proportion, line, space, scale, color?

What if, just for today, you focused on some different reference points to connect and dress your clients in a way that really suits their needs?

What if, just for today, your creative brain did most of the work?

These 2 x 90 minute webinars look at the innovatory influences used by great artists and designers and the importance of imagination and intuition in covering the human form as an expression of a person’s individuality.

We will be looking at dressing the needs of your clients using a completely different approach, so their clothes tell a story – their story – which relates to their influences and inspirations. You can, of course, apply this to your own style.

Enter this training with an open mind and an open heart, and take a brand new look at what you do and how you do it.

Increasing the number of style tools available increases the satisfaction of your clients

Sue DonnellyAbout Sue Donnelly, AICI CIP FFIPI FFSM

Sue Donnelly FFIPI, AICI CIP, FFSM is an internationally sought after image professional who is passionate about enabling men and women to dress and communicate in a way that reflects who they are and what they want to say, whatever their shape, size or age. Since she turned 50, (a few years ago) she understands entirely how confidence can ebb away and how you almost have to re-discover yourself, so you no longer have to ‘run with the pack’ but find your unique way of ‘showing up’. She doesn’t adhere to the ‘one size fits all’ either in the way we dress or the way we communicate and serve the needs of our clients.

Sue is a former President and Fellow of the UK image industry’s governing - Federation of Image Professionals International and a founding member of Association of Stylists and Image Professionals. She is a Certified Image Professional AICI, Master (and lead trainer) of Fashion Feng Shui. A certified coach, facilitator and speaker and the author of 5 books, she has been featured on TV in the UK and New Zealand and has written articles and styled photo shoots for many magazines and newspapers. She has been a speaker at FIPI conferences and presented sessions for AICI all over the world. She believes that being authentic and allowing yourself to evolve are the keys to success – and that includes how you choose to adorn and express yourself, whatever your age.

In order to earn AICI CEUs, participants must:

  1. Attend both sessions.
  2. Fully participate in all activities.
  3. Complete evaluation at end of sessions.
  4. List learned outcomes that will be applied to their business.

Testimonials

I have attended previous webinars facilitated by Sue and they have all been excellent. Needless to say, she did not disappoint. The 90 minute webinars were engaging, enjoyable, informative and most importantly, interactive. Plenty of time was allowed to cover the objectives and there were opportunities to ask questions before moving onto the next section. Visuals were used as discussion points and to illustrate examples, all of which were very helpful. This is definitely a program for those in the industry who want to extend and advance their thinking, as well as adding value to clients by providing an elevated experience.
~Cheryl Lampard, Past President AICI Florida Chapter

I found Sue’s webinars to be very well constructed, excellently delivered and full of exciting alternative and complementary ways of thinking with regard to image consulting.

‘Putting the I (eyes) into Image’is a very interactive course which sets out its learning objectives very clearly, guides the learner through a series of considerations which are unconventional to the seasoned image professional, whilst opening up wholly different ways to allow each consultant and client to ‘find’their true self, and to express this through their dressing. We each went away with an action plan to begin our new journeys.

I recommend this course delivered by Sue Donnelly to anyone who wishes to expand and further their learning into advanced image techniques.
~ Sally M Hanley FFIPI, Director of Accreditation , Federation of Image Professionals International

I recently took part in Sue Donnelly’s Webinar "Putting the I into Image”This course really added a new dimension to my knowledge and took it a step further.

I now feel more able to advise certain types of clients (the very creative ones and those who are looking to change their style drastically) much better than before and I will be using my new knowledge and skills to enhance all my consultations. I would thoroughly recommend it!

The Webinar format really suited me. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to spend any time or money traveling and could sit and take part with my dog in my lap and a cup of tea on my desk!
