You’ve probably heard that “Sitting is the New Smoking!" As the world becomes more technologically advanced, humans are becoming more and more sedentary, which is not good for the human body. With the advent of handheld technologies (iphones, iPads, etc…) poor posture has been made even worse by "Tech Neck”, a position that has the head constantly in a downward position. Our bodies are designed to stand erect and for sustained movement to maintain body strength and flexibility. But poor health is only one implication of poor posture. Another implication to poor posture is what our body language is communicating. Our body language needs to reflect our core essence, attitude, and our presence. We can use this not only in our personal lives, but also promote these ideas with our clients to help them improve their charisma and age gracefully. We know that gravity is not our friend, and other dynamic forces come into play as we age, but there are strategies we can employ to slow down the forces of time. Therefore, in recognition of May, Posture Awareness Month, we will explore what our posture says about us, and look at the recent research to understand why posture is paramount to our future. We will review some of the latest research in stand tall / live longer and promote posture awareness to help you achieve your professional potential. This teleclass will explain why good posture is not only critical to long-term health, but also promotes confidence and style. It will also give you keys to use when working with clients to help them develop posture awareness as a way of life. The class will identify at least three immediate actions that the audience can take to add posture awareness to their business, and give their clients a competitive edge. Prepare for an hour to realign your posture for good health, enlighten your mind and develop a plan for good posture for health and style! As an image professional, you will learn the impact that the technological age has had on people’s posture. You will also learn:

You will learn about:

  • How posture can affect both your health and your professional bearing
  • How our body language reflects your core essence and your attitudes
  • The health benefits of good posture in a tech world
  • The professional benefits of good posture that reflects sizzling confidence and style.
