2013 AICI Annual Conference
In times of global uncertainty, positioning your business for growth is essential. This year in the heat of the desert sun, we invite you to join us May 16-19 for AICI’s International Conference. We will provide you with the tools you need to ignite your business and handle the heat! Here are some of the highlights…
On Friday morning we will kick off our day by discovering standards of beauty and how it is perceived in different parts of the world; why women shop; communication strategies to attract and retain clients; and more – presented in a general keynote session by Dr. Ben Barry, PhD.
We will be offering a choice of 20 concurrent sessions in two tracks designed equally for those new to the industry and for those more experienced. For more in-depth education, we are pleased to offer a choice of 12 additional workshops. This year the conference team did a great job of selecting educational components from every AICI core competency. Our educational sessions are a a great way to learn the latest techniques, earn CEUs, and upgrade your skills at any level.
We have a number of social activities planned, including the gala dinner & awards ceremony, and many opportunities to mingle during breakfast, lunch and in the evenings. However, this year we have also included some exclusive events:
If this is your first AICI International Conference, we invite you to attend the First Timers meeting on the evening of Thursday, May 16. This meeting is for first time conference attendees only. You will meet the AICI International Board of Directors, be provided with a walkthrough of everything you need to know about how to make the most of conference, and you will have the opportunity to meet and network with each other.
For the first time ever the CIM/CIP Luncheon will be included in the early bird registration fee as a member benefit for all CIMs and CIPs.
Chapter Presidents and Presidents-Elect are invited to attend a special breakfast. This will be a great opportunity to get to know each other, as well as the AICI President, President Elect and VP Chapter Relations.
To show recognition to our CIMs we will also be holding an exclusive reception where they can mix and mingle with each other, and with the incoming and outgoing International Board of Directors.
There is a lot to do in Arizona, including one of the world’s wonders - the Grand Canyon, only a three-hour drive away. And if you like to shop, bring an extra suitcase – Glendale was named by USA Todayand Sunset Magazine as one of the top ten best places to shop in the US.
