Dominique Isbecque, AICI, CIP, is Founder of DominiQue IsbecQue International and The Image Resource Center of New York, a professional development and image communications consulting firm based in Manhattan. She is considered the coach’s coach. During the last 20 years she has coached and trained thousands of individuals from executives and media personalities to support and sales staff, in the art of perception management, business etiquette and customer service. She has advised such corporations as Clairol, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Robert Marston Public Relations, The American Bankers Association, Screen Actors Guild and AT&T on interpersonal image communications, personal promotion strategies and perception management.
Ms Isbecque is a founder and past President of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), and is the Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor of the Certificate Program in Image Consulting at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Ms Isbecque has been instrumental in building the field of image and personal communications through her speaking engagements, seminars, TV appearances and radio guest spots. She has written for and been featured in such national publications as The New York Times, Vogue, Glamour, Forbes and the Color Association of the United States Color Compendium Dictionary. Dominique was honored with an IMMIE Award for her personal and professional commitment to the Industry by AICI and with the 2001 Award of Excellence.
Ms Isbecque has held positions as President of Beyond Fashion Inc. in New York, Director of Training for LOOK Consulting International and was the first national spokesperson for 1-800-FLOWERS. In addition, she is co-author of the book 'The Perfect Fit, How to Start an Image Consulting Business'. Her background also includes work as a photographer and documentary filmmaker.
Ms Isbecque's firm belief in personal service drives her work as a consultant. She says "Image directly impacts the way that we and the world perceive us.  Mission Statement: The Image Resource Center of New York is committed to developing successful image businesses worldwide by providing education, support, coaching and tools. We are a consortium of professional image consultants who coach and train in all aspects of personal communications. Our consultants are experts in Personal Image, Voice, Body Language, Corporate Communications and Leadership Development. We offer services in 3 primary areas:
- Image Builder’s Training Program
- Corporate Program Development

The Image Builder’s Training Program
 The Image Builder’s Training Program successfully integrates technical and aesthetic skills and business development with practical application. The program is taught in modules, layering information sequentially. The full program is 9 days in duration, although you can take separate modules as you require them. Business development, marketing and a unique process to help you identify your niche are intrinsic elements of all our modules. Prior business experience is an asset, but not a requirement. Although we prefer to train you in all areas - color, style, wardrobe, personal shopping, men’s wear market - we welcome qualified applicants with other professional color and image consulting skills.
Color Analysis: Learn and experience the basic skills of color analysis and the relationship to personal style. Color draping with "guest clients" is included along with marketing direction. You will learn the skills needed to become a successful color consultant which is the foundation of image consulting. This module is held over 2 1/2 days.
Women’s Wardrobe & Style Analysis: Wardrobing services for clients requires methodology of figure & style analysis, personality and lifestyle evaluation, strategic dressing and image psychology. The methods taught are our unique consulting techniques. Discover how to structure and market services such as the image assessment, personal shopping and closet analysis. Prerequisite of Color Analysis or similar background. This module is held over 3 days.
Personal Shopping Day & Shopping Field Trip: This day takes you through an actual Personal Shopping experience with an authentic client and utilizes all the skills and methods learned to this point. Students participate in and observe a full range of services from image and wardrobe assessment to a personal shopping trip. This is a full one-day training with one instructor per 4 students. Pre-requisite of fashion style assessment and body and line analysis.
Men’s wear Market Primer: This class addresses the psychology of dealing with the male market, construction of men’s wear, style interpretation through lifestyle, body analysis, personality and clothing fit. It includes an on-site retail demonstration, a shopping resource assessment, and practice with a guest client and consulting protocol. Also included are marketing tips, turning a single sale into a multiple sale, consulting sources and sales tools available on the market. One textbook is included. This module is held over 2 days.
--NEW!-- Presentations- Design and Deliver: This class is geared  toward the beginner or intermediate Image Consultant who wants to take their business to the next level. In two days, learn the essential skills you need to design and deliver a winning image presentation anywhere, before groups of any size. Personal Presence, Professional Impact Toolkit (valued at $450) included. This module is held over 2 days.
Professional Development Coaching: One-on-one professional development coaching and internships are available for those who wish to accelerate their business growth. This can be done both in person and/or via telephone consultation sessions. We identify short and long term goals including profit targets and resources and develop a plan to reach these goals.

Corporate Program Development
Companies and organizations utilize our programs and services because we solve problems.
