AICI Novice Membership

Novice Membership Pricing | USD $150/year or $160/year in quarterly installments

This is a one-year introductory membership available for new members with a student status. Students considered for this membership must attend a school or program that consists of a minimum of 60 hours in image training and that is consistent with the AICI Core Competencies.

AICI Novice members enjoy all benefits of AICI membership, EXCEPT the following:

  1. AICI Novice Members are not given voting privileges.
  2. AICI Novice Members are not permitted to participate on the AICI International Directors Board.
  3. AICI- Novice Members are not permitted to establish new Chapters.
  4. AICI Novice Membership does not qualify for AICI Referral Program.
  5. This membership is only for NEW members.  If you have been a member of AICI in the past 5 years you do not qualify.

Application Requirements | Student Status

Before you begin, please have one document of student status available and your membership payment method ready. Both items are a required for you to complete the application.

Documents of student status MUST contain the following:

  • Student NAME
  • Name of School or Institution or Program
  • DATE of Registration or DATE of Graduation

Applicants must be enrolled in school within the same year or 12 months as their AICI Novice Membership application submission.

Permitted forms of Student Identification:
The following must include your full name and student identification number for verification. If you do not have an identification number an invoice with proof of payment and your name can be used instead.

  • Current class enrollment with your name and enrollment activity dates
  • Current transcripts that include your name and school
  • Letter from the registrar's office - The letter must state that you are a student for the current semester. This letter must be on the institution's letterhead, signed by the registrar, and be dated within 30 days.

Approval Process

All AICI Novice Member applications can be submitted online and subject to a 7- 14 business day approval period.

All membership applications are committee approved. Your membership will extend one full year from the date your application is approved, ensuring that membership time is not penalized due to necessary approval time. If you are NOT approved, you will be refunded your membership payment and you will receive and email confirming refund and application rejection.
